Areas of Work:
- Catalysts: Zeolites and zeolite-like materials, structural optimization, surface chemistry, morphology (especially nanoparticles)
- Coatings: Supported (reactive) crystallization of catalytically active systems
- Cellular Composite Materials: Catalytically active ceramic and glass molded bodies using new processing methods
- (Thermal) Energy Storage: Support for heat storage materials, novel (ceramic and hybrid) heat storage materials (currently underway to establish a DFG priority program)
- Thermoelectrics: Processing of thermoelectric powders using ceramic manufacturing techniques (process cost savings and upscaling of TEGs)
- Investigation and Modification of Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs)
- Investigation of the Aging Behavior of Fe-Modified SAPOs
